I tried to configure OSQA notifications but it does seam to send anything and all logs are empty.

I followed the instructions from https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13287

server: smtp.gmail.com
TLS: yes
port: 587
login: dude@domain.com (google apps domain)
password: valid password for dude (tested)

Now another question would be, where am I supposed to get the test email, I assume it will try to send it to the email used by the admin user doing the test. Still nothing received and no error to be found.

Could you take a look at the log/django.osqa.log error file?

Nada, not a single line added to osqa error log.

It seems your log configuration is not working then, giving the amount of errors your installation seems to have based on your posts here, at this time your log file should be pretty full.
