I'm doing a new skin for my osqa installation... all seems pretty easy and straightforward, but few issues I bumped in...

  1. In IE8 announcement bar (notify) doesn't show at all. I'm not sure if this is after my work, or if this is general bug... meta.osqa.net seems to have the same problem.

  2. Now in FF, when user clicks X on the notification area to close the massage, body automatically gets margin-top:0; is this done through some kind of javascript? jquery? I feel it's being modified on the fly... basically I need to make my background-position: top center; when user clicks X. please see image to understand better...
