While this is a small request it does help with the personal appeal to sites such as these.

Since there is no exposed method for a user to define their gender within their user profile the Recent Activity list within administration displays all line items as masculine references.

For example, "cindy edited his profile" where the user, cindy, is female.

This could be remedied by changing the references in the Recent Activity list to be gender ambiguous [their] but adding an additional field in the user profile may be a better method as it could provide additional value in some cases.
