I'm new to the community and I may be missing something, but it seems that there is no way to search within tags.

Both SO and Shapado offer this by searching with [tag] query. Examples can be seen at the URLs below:

Am I missing something or is this feature not available or in the works?

Thanks!

You can search tags from the search bar: click on the "tags" radio button, type in your search text, and press "search".

Or did you mean the combined search - i.e. search for questions with tag XXX that contain string YYY, which on SO you'd do with a search [XXX] YYY - in that case, no, AFAICT, OSQA can't do that yet.

It has been added as a feature request into the JIRA system: http://jira.osqa.net/browse/OSQA-699

Yeah, it's the second one. Both SO and Shapado offer a way to search [tag] query (like I said in my original questions).

I take it this wasn't implemented or added as a feature request?

@David - see updated answer - feature-request is now in the JIRA tracking system
