It would be nice to run trunk on meta, or at least the last beta release.

When do you plan to update it ?

This should be the general rule to update BEFORE releasing it to unsuspecting users.

As of about 1PM on 3/24/11, meta.osqa.net is running on the trunk again. Upgrade was painless.

The server that runs meta is in a configuration that runs several other sites, some production for users that are VERY picky about updates. We have to balance being on the bleeding edge and making sure we don't rock the boat too much. We are happy to straighten out any problems people are having with the release and will spin a new release if needed with new bugfixes. The beta was tested on several configurations and is running a site about to go into production for a customer. I don't have an ETA for updating meta and the several other servers running with it yet.

Thanks for the clarification @matt. Eventually meta should probably be split to a separate server, and made to run against trunk - dog-fooding is important!
