Why does an edit move questions back to the top of 'active'?

2 1	Is there any way to stop people bumping their posts back to the top of the 'active' filter by ignoring recent edits? filter sort asked 10 Feb '11, 23:46 dougvk 812●6●19●34 accept rate: 33%
