Have you considered setting up a project on Transifex to get more translation done? I would contribute with Norwegian translation. |

I visited www.transifex.net to check it out. Although it looks like it must be very powerful, I have to admit I was also very confused. We are thinking about a potentially very simple module for OSQA that will support community-powered translations. The task is actually similar to the Q&A model in many ways. Is Transifex easy to use once you know what you're doing? Is it something we can point users to and say "Go for it!" Transifex might be to complicated for end-users to contribute trough. But its easy for developers. A builtin app for OSQA would be awesome. Something like the facebook translation for example. If this could be adopted to other django apps I think it would be a real hit in the django community.

Want to add this easy guide to look at: http://www.transifex.net/help/developer/github/ Makes it really easy for contributors to translate for you guys. Works perfectly with github.

Another option would be to use http://99translations.com/ But in any case I also think it would be really nice to be able to translate OSQA through any of these websites. |

Hey there, we actually have been discussing a way of using osqa for cloud translation, but I guess we can take a look at transifex. Thanks for the suggestion :-) |
