Hi,

I've noticed that when creating lists in the question textarea using chrome (whether you use the button or not), when you press Enter to go to the next line it inserts a lot of extra text which makes it unusable.

I guess this is a bug in the browser, but wondering if anyone has managed to fix this.

Thanks

For what it's worth this also occurs under IE 9.

9 months and no solution, the wmd-editor domain is still down. Can't we do something about this?

As the original wmd project was lost in space, it look that the new location of the project would be http://code.google.com/p/wmd-new/

@mhost, we require all postings to have a clear, specific QUESTION in the title field. Please edit this right away to rephrase the title as a proper question.

The wmd editor (the one we use, is very buggy in chrome, and apparently IE to. There's some recent commits in the editor, which apparently fix that list issue, but not another problem. We'll be upgrading the editor as soon there's some new stable version.

I just tried the demo at http://wmd-editor.com/demo in Chrome 7 and the list editor works a little better but still doesn't work properly. Oh well, I guess this is something outside the scope of OSQA.

Thanks.

Any chance of patching this? There seem to be some fixes on github https://github.com/ChiperSoft/wmd/commit/58e196be8bce93373ef05361e20177c248c3779e
