I'm using sximporter to import data from a StackExchange site and I'm having a few problems:

  1. On at least one question, there are two answers marked as accepted
  2. No comments are imported at all
  3. Several badges listed under "Recent badges" are "unknown" - same as this unanswered question

  1. OSQA has that habillity, to allow more than one answer (or none at all) to be accepted. I've noticed that happening only once in one question in one of the many sites I've imported. It's related with the fact that SX dumps don't contain all the info. And when you switch accepted answers in SX the other one is not "unmarked" as accepted, so we can't really guess I believe.
  2. Weird. That never happened before. Have no answer to that.
  3. Yes, not every badge under stack exchange exist in OSQA.

As you probably noticed, we are working on an export/import format. The "importer" will swallow the stack exchange importer and it will be able to read at least those two formats. Some of the issues in the importer are going to be addressed there. And I believe it should be fully functional by the end of the week.

Update: the comments are being imported correctly, they're just not being displayed. Still investigating.
