New updates (r516) seem to have broken a lot of javascript for me.

For example: http://metaoptimize.com/qa/questions/ask/ the wmd editor bar is now gone.

Also, on any question page (http://metaoptimize.com/qa/questions/279/markov-logic-network-implementation-in-c-or-java), the "more" button doesn't work.

Why not?

[edit: I might have to downgrade back to r460 again, in which case you won't be able to see the problem on my site.]

It certainly wouldbe nice to have some error messages or something to study and understand. This site (and at least 5 more) is running on 516, and it seems to me to be running well.

Did you already downgrade? Everything seems ok on this site and on yours.

I downgraded. I think it has to do with the subdir path :(

I'm happy to set aside some time to talk this through. Please ping me on IM tomorrow and we can look at the various issues and gt them logged into jira.

I am seeing 3 javascripts errors both in IE6 and IE7 when loading the home at http://respuestas.trabber.com/

  • Line 36, char 13, Expected identifier, string or number
  • Line 1003, char 1, 'i18nLang' is undefined
  • Line 48, char 17, 'notify' is null or not an object

@oscar can we please file a bug report with those errors. We'll try to look into them.

Those errors where the ones that originated this http://meta.osqa.net/questions/3748/answer-toolbar-doesnt-show-in-ie7, and they were old, long before the "new updates".
