One of the last remaining issues scheduled for OSQA's first release is reviewing all the english prompts, labels, and blocks of text. Help us find the places where you think there's something incorrect. Add the text you think is wrong and it's correction as an answer to this question.

Note: this is not about finding things that haven't been translated yet, just about finding mistakes!

When you click "close" to close a question, there's a word "bellow," although it should be "below."

Unless the user is intending on emitting a deep, loud roar with the action? :)

There are 30 occurrences in 9 files (report.html, maintenance.html and various django.po files).

In a user's Recent Activity page:

  • You edited (user) answer on (topic)
should be "You edited (user)'s answer on (topic)
  • You commented on (user) answer on (topic)

should be "You commented on (user)'s answer on (topic)

  • (user) edited (user) answer on (topic)

should be "(user) edited (user)'s answer on (topic)

There are several more like those, both in Recent Activity and in Karma History.

User Profile page:

  • Consider changing "user website" to "user's website". It works as it is, but may be an improvement. Fixed

Karma History:

  • (user) accepted You answer on his question (topic)
should be "(user) accepted Your answer on his question (topic)"

About page:

  • "reputation" should be "karma" (Did someone have SE on the mind? :) ) - Fixed
