Makes it easier to spot click/moderation/attention-worthy posts.

Edit: In the list of questions, the name of the user with the recent activity is shown. In SX, the number of gold, silver, and gold badges of that user is shown (not just the reps).

Can you explain this better?

Edited for clarification.

In general, our strong preference is for the "title" to always be a full, proper question. We know it isn't sometimes possible, but we believe that well-formed, actual questions work best.

Good point. I agree.

Ok, got it now. This is actually more of a template thing. The templates do not have the power we want yet, but we already made some work, and for example, that username/rep/badges "signature" is represented by a tag, which takes some options, and in our default templates we opted to not to show the badges, but that is something you can easily change in your own OSQA.

Take a look at your profile page on your questions list. You can see that in this particular listing we show the badges.

Didn't we specifically remove the badge metadata from the questions listing on the front page? I guess there's always a balancing act between too much and too little data.

yeah, but the two formats are handled by the same tag, and one can pick between just reputation or the extended format

Thinking about it again, I think this feature isn't particularly important and can be left until all other important features and bug-fixes have been implemented.
