I don't have root access on my DreamHost shared server. It does have Python2.5 and Django 1.1.1 installed, not to mention MySQL. How do I proceed? Update Same question asked here. A step-by-step "Installing OSQA on DreamHost" guide is now available on the wiki.

great question, This* web hosting has the same features as well.
How is the apache setup? If Python 2.5 is installed and Django is installed with the proper mysql client, then it should be pretty straightforward. We're actually migrating to subversion (browse at http://svn.osqa.net/browse/OSQA/osqa/trunk) and should have some better documentation shortly.
@matt: can you provide more detail with the question about apache? I have several sites installed on that hosting account using apache, but I just used their one-click install to create them. Are there certain things I can check?
@scott-w I meant does it have WSGI? If they have a one-click installer for these types of things, we'd be happy to look into building one of those (we're looking into something similar for WebFaction). Do you have any documentation on that?
@matt: According to http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Passenger_WSGI we have the ability to install the Passenger WSGI module, including for django. That implies that apache has WSGI, I think. As for one-click, I made a suggestion that they add OSQA. There's a "process" to it.
