Hi,

Sometimes (near to every time), Users, when create a new question, dot give enough information in his question.

So I ask him to modify his question to happens in his question to add missing elements.

I would like to be notified when I does his modification. Is it possible with OSQA?

Thanks.

The recommended usage is to ask the user to add a new comment with the missing information, not to edit his original post.
Anyway, getting a notification when a post is modified would be useful for sure.

A user can set this in their profile.

  1. User opens Profile by clicking on their user name at the top of the screen
  2. User click on the user tools drop down and selects "email notification settings"
  3. In the "On my subscriptions, notify me when:" section select the box "A comment is posted "

Because this is stored in one of the tables in the database you should be able to set it to true for all users.

I guess the question was about how to receive a notification when a post is changed (not a new comment).
I think it would be useful when editing a post (question, comment or answer) to have an available checkbox "Send notification". That way, you can choose when you feel your edit is so significant as it deserves a notification.
