A quite useful feature from Stack Overflow is having aliases for certain tags, which could be named in many different ways.

For instance, I help run a multilingual site, where we use tags in two languages (as some shouldn't be translated, but some should). Here it would be useful to be able to keep tags in both languages, and then make one a synonym of the other, so we keep uniformity in the choice of tags.

Would it be possible to get this added to OSQA?

Hi Sebastian. In Qato, we call these Aliases. Basically, they are ways to reference tags or topics by additional names in search and autocomplete, etc. OSQA doesn't have these right now, but it could be something that we port over in the future.
