I would like to host one OSQA forum and corresponding meta forum.

I am thinking about going for WebFaction hosting.

Support guy told me that if two of my forums could fit in 250 MB memory I will have to pay 10$/month and if not then I will have to updgrade my plan.

How can I figure out if my forums will fit in 250 MB memory?

Where did you find that price? 10$/month on webfaction will get you 120mb if you pay annually, not more. Or do you have some special offer?

Yes, you should be able to. You might need to tweak the apache settings to get memory use down. I've had two OSQA sites running in 80MB of memory at Webfaction.

Obviously, it will depend on number of visitors, users, questions, etc.

In theory, you should be able to get two OSQA sites running through one Apache process, but I never managed to get that working. It should be possible, though.

I've been running two instances (default straight from the wiki) without any traffic but it did not fit in 80mb. 120 mb is enough, though.
