Is OSQA not under active development any more as I don't see any announcement related to development for long time?

No, OSQA is under constant, active development. We don't, however, spend enough effort posting announcements and blogging and all that. This is probably because we don't really have much concern about evangelizing people to use OSQA. You can be 100% sure we aren't putting effort into convincing you to use OSQA :)

Anyway, your best bet to see what is happening is to look at the source code at http://svn.osqa.net/ where you'll see that there are very frequent code commits. OSQA is very much alive.

Let's also not forget that the current subversion release of OSQA has been super stable and in production with tons of page views. Sometimes if it ain't broke.... :) Maybe a stream of the commits from our Fisheye to the blog homepage would show the activity :)

If the subversion release is super stable why not create a release version out of it ?

Not all planned features were implemented yet, and we're lacking the most valuable of resources (after oil), time :)
