I have just accomplished to install a OSQA server in my localhost as I want to use it in my blog.

The question is, would it be possible to change, for example, the icon "questions" in an easy way?

The issue is that I think this engine can be really useful for brainstorming, rather just for "questions"...

I am an experienced programmer in some languages (not python) but I think that with a little guiding I could easily do it.

Thank you for your help!

@tialis, all meta.osqa.net postings are required to have a clear, specific question in their title field. Please correct the title of this posting right away. Thanks.

The easiest way to customize OSQA is through the administration:

  • you can custom header/footer/sidebar
  • you can set custom CSS
  • change the logo

For bigger customization you can copy the default skin to a new one and use it instead, but there is a risk that the two skin branches will get farther apart too much and you won't be able to update easily, that's why be careful with your customization.
